Onefinestay has just launched a new collection of villas in Greece, marking the first phase of the company’s expansion into 14 new destinations globally, including Europe and U.S. ski regions, due to be rolled out in the coming months. With Greece borders reopening to American travelers beginning this week—ahead of the country’s original May 14 projected reopening date—onefinestay’s new selection of villas will provide additional seclusion and privacy on islands that have been closed to U.S. travelers for more than a year.
The newly curated collection offers 30-plus contemporary villas in Mykonos and Santorini, along with a series of new concierge services ranging from exclusive access to reservations at the finest restaurants and in-villa beauty treatments, to private yacht charters chef-prepared meals and more.
Here’s a sampling of new options:
Villa Tan – Santorini
Perched high on the edge of steep cliffs in Imerovigli, with views over the water and nearby volcano, Villa Tan is a traditional Cycladic cave house with a contemporary beach-chic spin. Inside, cavernous rooms flow through narrow archways to create an intimate feel. The three-bedroom villa, which sleeps six guests, consists of an upper and lower cave house, each with its own kitchen and terrace. The outside space has a large terrace with a plunge pool and pergola-shaded and sun-drenched balconies. Villa Tan’s setup as two separate cave houses is well-suited for couples or two small families travelling together.
Villa Carmine – Santorini
Villa Carmine is a five-bedroom retreat, sleeping up to 10 guests and located in the serene surroundings of Akrotiri. Tucked away from the crowds and tourist hotspots, this village on the south of the island is ideal for those who enjoy a quieter pace of life while away on vacation. Authentically Greek and traditional in style, Villa Carmine is soft white and pastel in color. Adding to this atmosphere are the dainty chandeliers that hang from the ceiling and flowing chiffon curtains that envelop the king bed in the master room. There is also an indoor spa room, complete with a heated jacuzzi, from where guests can access the pool area with sea views.
Villa Nicholson – Mykonos
Villa Nicholson is located close to the pristine sands of Mersini Beach. Brimming with traditional Cycladic charm and boasting incredible sea views, the villa is made up of eight spacious bedrooms and can accommodate up to 20 guests. Split across three individual units, including the main house, this family-friendly home offers plenty of privacy for all guests.
Villa Phoenix – Mykonos
