Paradisus by Meliá, an all-inclusive resort brand owned and operated by Spanish hotel chain Meliá Hotels International, has announced the debut of The Reserve, a brand-wide upgraded guest experience within each Paradisus location.
The Reserve has merged the previously separate Royal Service and Family Concierge services together to form an immersive vacation experience for adults, families and groups. The Reserve offers the top accommodations within each resort. Guests who book The Reserve can enjoy specialized concierge service, including private check-in and check-out, personalized in-room aromatherapy, custom turn-down service, individual assistance with priority reservations for activities and restaurants, access to a private pool and beach club access with customized service, and access to special curated events throughout the resort, such special culinary events and glamping on the beach.
The Reserve offers both adults-only and family-friendly options. Adults have access to areas within each resort solely for adults, including an exclusive restaurant, lounge for check in and check out, pool and beach areas.
In addition to these brand wide upgrades, Paradisus has also made changes to its Riviera Maya location. Paradisus Playa del Carmen has renamed its family-friendly section of the resort. What was previously Paradisus La Esmeralda will now be known as Paradisus Playa del Carmen. This section of the resort has 506 suites, including 188 The Reserve rooms; 68 of the 188 Reserve suites are swim-up suites with direct access to private pools. In addition, the resort has a Kids Zone with supervised activities for kids up to 14 years old, a playground and tropical-themed water park with three swimming pools, giant water buckets and five slides. Paradisus Playa del Carmen guests will also have access to 11 restaurants and eight bars.
The adults-only section of the resort will remain Paradisus La Perla, with 393 spacious suites, including 150 The Reserve rooms; 58 of which are swim-up suites. Guests at both resorts will be able to book The Reserve and receive upgrade accommodations and exclusive services and amenities, along with access to an adults-only pool and adults-only beach. In addition to the 11 restaurants and eight bars that are for everyone, adults will be able to dine exclusively at six restaurants and six bars.
Resorts currently open for guests include Paradisus Los Cabos, Paradisus Playa del Carmen, Paradisus La Perla, Paradisus Cancun and The Grand Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real. Paradisus Palma Real will reopen on June 10, 2021.
