Las Torres Patagonia has unveiled a complete transformation of Hotel Las Torres for the new season, which commenced October 1, 2024. The renovation brings a new contemporary design to the historic, countryside property. Guests will discover new accommodations and an entirely transformed experience at the hotel located in Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia.
Hotel Las Torres, owned by the Kusanovic family, has 74 rooms and is surrounded by mountains, forests, colorful skies and the native animals of Patagonia. The new design concept has been developed by architect Pedro Kovacic and interior designer Enrique Concha.
To achieve the new look, a variety of furniture, décor and design elements inspired by the Torres Del Paine have been chosen. These include replacing carpet with porcelain tiling that reflect the chromatic range and texture of the national park. The bed and headframe are now a focal point of the rooms. The bathrooms also play a key role in this new era at Hotel Las Torres, leaving aside classic bathtubs for modern showers with glass doors.
The hotel’s corridors sporrt wooden boards naturally weathered by water and wind, simple and stripped of luxurious materials, creating “a duality of design between the hallways and rooms.” The halls maintain its massive windows for guests to look out to Mount Almirante Nieto as they pass by.
Over the next year, Las Torres Patagonia will continue to make updates to the property, extending the renovation to Coiron Restaurant, Pioneer Bar and other public spaces around the property.
