Mandarin Oriental, Boston has unveiled a range of packages and experiences for guests this summer. What can guests expect?
The “Discover Boston” package comprises a concierge-curated itinerary highlighting the city’s best historical activities, including the Freedom Trail and Boston/Cambridge Historical Walking Tours. Up to four View Boston tickets are also included. (View Boston is an observation deck offering 360-degree views of the city from more than 50 floors up at the Prudential Tower, located adjacent to the hotel.) A bespoke Boston-themed amenity and complimentary nightly parking are also included and a gourmet picnic lunch with picnic blanket can be provided at an extra fee. Picnics can be enjoyed at the green spaces within walking distance from the hotel, including Charles River Esplanade and the Boston Public Garden.
With Mandarin Oriental, Boston’s “Family Getaway” package, guests can enjoy a personalized family-based itinerary upon request so that each stay is filled with education, culture, the outdoors and more. They can also enjoy Emack & Bolio’s ice cream, with custom flavors for the hotel: Chocolate Chip, Cookie Monster and Grasshopper Pie. A bespoke children’s amenity is offered upon check-in and a tent is set up in the room for children to sleep and play in, along with books and stuffed animals to enjoy during the stay. Available through August 31, this package also offers the option for a Suite or King rooms with an adjoining room for the children and a daily breakfast credit of $200.
The hotel also offers day trips to Provincetown, located on the northern tip of Cape Cod, and Martha’s Vineyard, the island that is home to lighthouses, beaches, farmland and more. Pricing and details available upon request.

- Fenway Park Private Tour and Red Sox Game Tickets – An experienced tour guide will lead guests through the hallowed halls and legendary moments of historic Fenway Park. Grab ticketed seats to the Red Sox game after the tour
- Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum Tour – Families can get up-close-and-personal with the famous event that forever changed the course of American history at the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum in Boston Harbor. The experience includes a fully guided tour that even includes a chance to re-enact the throwing of tea into the sea and a tasting at Abigail’s Tea Room & Terrace.
- Boston by Bike – Guests can explore Boston like a local on a signature cruiser bike. Besides a packed gourmet picnic lunch and blanket, the three-hour experience includes a route map to see all the sights such as Newbury Street, the Boston Public Garden, Charles River Esplanade, and more.
- Forest Bathing Therapy – Certified Forest Therapy Guide Nadine Mazzola will lead a 90-minute meditative forest therapy session in Boston’s Arnold Arboretum or Charles River Esplanade Park.
The spa at Mandarin Oriental, Boston offers two-, three- and five-night wellness retreats titled Inner Strength and Outer Strength. These retreats include spa treatments, private movement classes, wellness-focused meals and individual coaching led by spa practitioners and health experts.
Additionally, the hotel recently launched a new Wellness Membership, granting locals access to its fitness center, spa facilities and health programming.
