The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay has unveiled extensive updates to guestrooms and suites, as well as The Spa, the signature restaurant, The Conservatory and more. The renovation was overseen by hospitality design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), who drew inspiration for the guestrooms and suites from the rugged landscape, warm firepits and bagpipe serenades.
The resort’s signature restaurant, Navio, reveals bespoke new furnishings as well as redesigned table settings to enhance its striking coastal views and cuisine. The restaurant’s iconic ambiance, with grand wood paneling and arched vaulted ceilings, has been refreshed, and complemented by fresh flooring combining warm wood and carpeting. Navio’s coastal-inspired sister restaurant, The Conservatory, also received fully refreshed furnishings that instill its quintessential California ethos and mid-century style. The updated space is redesigned to enhance floor-to-ceiling views of the Pacific.
Within The Spa, guests will find updates to the water amenities, including sauna, steam room, cold plunge and whirlpool jacuzzi. Treatment rooms also received a refresh for added comfort, and even the smallest of details received attention, including artwork, furnishings and accessories.
Inspired by the aesthetic upgrades, The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay is also reinvigorating culinary and guest experiences with pop-up partnerships with world-renowned wine and spirit brands, exclusive dinners highlighting local ingredients and coveted wines, curated in-room Ritz Kids and pet amenities.
